This international artistic project challenged artists from Belgium, the United States, Japan, Latvia, Poland, and Portugal to live on camellia wood from the gardens of Campo Bello (Vila Nova de Gaia) and Quintal do Forno (Paços da Serra) by giving it creative reuse.
“Through their poetic vision, conveyed through the simple, universal language of wood engraving, the project aims at inspiring reflection about the human relationship with Nature and the transnational character of artistic expression.”
